Caroline H. Monsewicz

Caroline H. Monsewicz knows what it takes to get results for her clients. Born and raised in Mooresville, North Carolina, Caroline graduated from Marshall University with dual degrees in History and Political Science, as well as a Music minor degree in Vocal Performance. Caroline was honored to study at the University of Oxford in 2013, where she studied political economics and relations in the Middle East with colleagues from across the United States, Europe, and Australia. In addition to her time in the classroom, Caroline also played for the Marshall University Thundering Herd women’s soccer team for four seasons as a goalkeeper.

Determined to use her teamwork ethic and performance skills, she moved to Atlanta to seek new challenges and pursue her dream of becoming a lawyer and advocate for those who need it most.

Caroline earned her Juris Doctor from Emory University School of Law, where she was recognized as a Graduating Woman of Excellence and recipient of the Dean’s Award for service to the Emory Law community upon graduation.

Now as an attorney, Caroline uses each of the skills she’s learned to stand up for those who have been injured and get them the justice they deserve. She knows how the insurance companies evaluate cases because she used to represent them. Before joining the Tobin Injury Law team, Caroline practiced with a well-respected insurance defense firm in Metro Atlanta, where she defended various personal injury cases, including automobile crashes, trucking crashes, and insurance coverage cases. After reaffirming her desire to help people, not companies, Caroline uses her knowledge of the industry to help those who have been injured by someone else’s negligence.

Like Darren, Caroline also has extensive experience in the area of family law, where she assisted clients with custody disputes and divorce proceedings. Caroline’s additional experience with creditor’s rights litigation with a nationally recognized firm located in the Metro Atlanta area gave her hundreds of hours in the courtroom, including more than 65 bench trials, countless mediations, and hearings in front of judges all over the state of Georgia.

Caroline is proud to be a trial lawyer and has dedicated her practice to representing her clients with passion and determination. Like the rest of the Tobin Injury team, Caroline sees our clients as people; not a case number. Armed with knowledge of the industry, Caroline analyzes cases with the goal to get clients the best possible result. If a case should settle, Caroline will work to resolve the case as quickly as necessary. If the insurance company doesn’t do the right thing, Caroline looks forward to preparing for trial with Darren.

When she is not assisting clients or planning for case strategy, Caroline enjoys spending time with her husband, Justin, and their two loving cats, Sophie and Emerson. A fan of Carolina Panthers football, she also enjoys hiking, attending live concert events, and gardening. To schedule a time to speak with Caroline about your case, feel free to email her at
