Why Choose Us

Our Trial Experience Sets Us Apart

Experience matters.  Many law firms advertise that they are skilled attorneys. But, many of these lawyers have never been inside of a courtroom. Our trial team is different. Honestly, we believe we’re better. Last year alone, we won more trials than almost any other lawyer in the state. We have exceptional experience in the courtroom and at the negotiation table.  Our trial experience sets us apart and gives you an advantage.

Other Lawyers Call Us To Work On Their Cases

We’re frequently asked for legal advice by other good law firms across the country.  Other lawyers regularly refer cases to us because they trust that our firm will maximize the client’s recovery.  Other lawyers read about our firm’s jury verdicts and settlements in the news.  These same lawyers annually nominate us for high legal honors.  Even the judges in Georgia have awarded us with the Judicial Edition of Martindale-Hubbell’s AV Preeminent rating.  Our national reputation places us in US News & World Report’s “Best Law Firm” category.

Our Victories Help You

The insurance companies track lawyers. Our record of winning big jury verdicts–including a $100,000,000.00 verdict in federal court in 2022–and negotiating multi-million dollar settlements–including a $22,700,00.00 wrongful death settlement in 2023–gives you the advantage.

We Donate A Portion Of Our Profit To Charity

Every year we donate a percentage of our profit to charitable causes both domestically and abroad.  (Our profit means you are not affected in any way: the money we give to charity comes from our pockets, not yours.) You can learn more about the charities we donate to by visiting our Philanthropy page.

Our Clients Become Our Friends

Our perfect five-star rating on Google reflects a combination of skill, hard work, and genuine concern that you won’t find elsewhere. We really do treat our clients like family, and our clients stay our friends long after the case resolves.

If We Don’t Win, You Don’t Pay

If we don’t win your case, you don’t pay us.  We handle each case on a contingency basis, which means we get paid only if we win.  What that should tell you is if we agree to take your case, it means we expect to win. There is no surprise billing or added fees—it’s a fixed percentage set upfront so you know our interests are mutually aligned with yours from beginning to end.

You Will Be Treated With Respect

At other law firms, you may start to feel like you’re just another case number.  You may get bounced around between a bunch of staff and never deal directly with the lawyer you thought you were hiring.  Not with us.  At our law firm, you will deal directly with the same lawyer who you spoke with on day one all the way until your case is resolved.  Communication is extremely important at our firm, and we therefore regularly text and call our clients with updates. You have questions; we promise to give you answers.

Fewer Cases = Better Results

Some firms focus on taking on lots of cases and then settling them as quickly as possible to ensure maximum profit for as little work as possible. That’s not us.  Our law firm takes a handful of cases.  What that means is you get our full attention.  Our decisions about settlement versus trial are based solely on your best interest and not on making a quick buck for our firm.

We Understand The Medicine

Serious injuries require skilled attorneys who understand medicine. Not all personal injury lawyers possess the same medical knowledge. Our years of experience handling serious personal injury cases has helped us build a deep base of medical knowledge.  We know the right questions to ask your doctors, and we understand the medical terms.  We read medical records every day, and we meet with specialists every week. We hire outside medical consultants on many of our cases.  Combining our knowledge of law and medicine with the medical professionals we hire, ensures maximum results for our clients.

We Negotiate Your Medical Bills To Net You More Money

When your case resolves, we negotiate the medical bills that you owe to your medical providers so that you net more money.  We have saved our clients millions of dollars by negotiating medical bills and fighting liens.
